Beckington CC is passionate about enabling youngsters to get involved in cricket and to improve as players. We seek to give boys and girls the best possible environment in which to learn about the game, improve their skills and to experience competitive opportunities while still enjoying themselves and having a positive social experience.

UNDER 8'S TRAINING

Tuesday evenings. The Recreation Ground, Beckington 5:30 - 6:30pm.

An opportunity for learning cricket basics (through games, coaching and Kwik Cricket), general physical activity and a great deal of fun! For children born on or after 1st September 2002.

OVER 8'S TRAINING

Wednesday evenings. The Recreation Ground, Beckington 6 - 7:30pm

A chance for older children to become involved in cricket, from complete beginners to the more experienced. Group and individual coaching, an enjoyable range of activities and full games are used. For children born on or before 31st August 2002.

UNDER 11'S MATCHES

Monday evenings. The Recreation Ground, Beckington (home games), or at opponents home ground. 6pm.

A chance for Under-11's to play competitive cricket in the BDYCL. 8-a-side, 16 overs per team, every pair of batsmen bat for four overs, with wickets counting as -5 runs. Everybody except the wicket keeper bowls at least one over.

SENIOR MATCHES

Over 11's who wish to play competitive cricket may play in our midweek friendly matches. Those with sufficient skills may also be selected to play in our league second team.

Children of all ages and abilities are invited to attend training, drinks and healthy snacks will be provided.
